Fensport GT86 NA Track Car
Fensport GT86 Normally Aspirated Sprint Car
In 2015 we are pleased to build Stan Hawrylaks GT86, a joint venture where we will push the boundaries of tuning the NA car.
Stan is a seriously quick driver, finishing an incredible 3rd overall, in last years Toyota Sprint Series.
Over winter the car was stripped inside and a Cusco 6 point roll cage added along with race seats and harnesses. BC Racing external reservoir coilovers were added along with SuperPro bushes. Top mounts are turned to increase castor and camber bolts are used on the front to get enough negative camber. Summit racing provided front and rear chassis bracing and also adjustable rear suspension arms.
Weight was reduced further with a Racecar lithium battery and the car was both 4 wheel aligned for a race setup and corner weighted to reveal the new weight of 1150kgs.
For engine performance we used the oversize light weight Fensport alloy pulleys, Lightweight alloy Fidanza flywheel and an uprated ceramic Helix clutch. A MFactory carbon prop feeds power to the 4.67 Mfactory final drive. Power is further boosted via a HKS equal length manifold, a 2.5" Miltek resonated exhaust and of course the famous Fensport remap using Ecutek and Race Rom to provide 2 maps, 1 for VPower and 1 for VPower with Millers octane booster for race day.
Downforce is enhanced with a Seibon carbon front splitter and high level carbon rear wing.
Braking on the front is upgraded with Stoptech 330mm 4 piston kit which is one of the lightest kits available for 86. The rears are upgraded with stoptech replacement grooved discs and uprated pads. Hel stainless brake lines and race fluid complete the brake setup.
Wheels are Rota Grid with 235/17 Toyo R888 tyres.
