UK Customer - NA Car - what are the options for mapping my car?
Firstly you will need to purchase our NA Remap Service
Note: Option 2 can only be performed on cars which have already been mapped using Ecutek, even if mapped by another tuner)
UK Customers - NA Car - have 3 options for mapping
1, You come here - pay for the map, it takes around an hour with fine tuning and road testing. You only pay for the map (with or without license)
2, Hire our Pro Ecu Retail Programming kit, costs £300 inc vat up front + postage but you get a refund of £204 inc vat when its returned so the real cost is £96 inc vat.
We send you the rom files with simple instructions, you then send us log files and we repeat until we are both happy.

The benefit of option 3 is you retain the Ecutek EVi Programming Kit so you can re tune the vehicle in the future as well as use the many features of the Evi such as fault code reading and clearing, dashboard, live data etc

Overseas Customer - NA Car - what are the options for mapping my car?

Or Option 2, Without License - £299 without UK vat.
Note: Option 2 can only be performed on cars which have already been mapped using Ecutek, even if mapped by another tuner)
Overseas Customers - NA Car - have 1 option for remote tuning.
1, Purchase the ProECU EVi Retail Programming Kit - cost is £250 without UK vat.

Forced Induction Customers with Turbo or Supercharged Cars
We can of course also map forced induction cars, the options are the same as above (prices differ) but for remote mapping we require the customer to install a wideband afr guage / meter.
If the customer visits us, we use our own wideband and there is no extra cost or need to install a wideband afr guage / meter.
Why do I need a wideband for forced induction cars?
The stock wideband suffers when the exhaust pressure gets high and can flatline so to be safe we require a wideband afr guage / meter.
Is remote tuning difficult?
For most normal cars no, we supply instructions which are carefully prepared and written in simple terms. Most of our customers report that they really enjoy the process.
For Advanced Turbo maps the process is easier/quicker if we have the car at our premises. We can still remote tune but there may be lots of revisions.
How does the remote tuning process work?
1, We start with supplying you with the Ecutek Evi with Programming Kit.
2, We then send instructions for downloading software and a questionnaire for you to complete and return.
3, A suitable rom file is then prepared and sent via email with instructions on how to program and how to take and send log files.
4, You send us log files and we then send you back a new version of the rom.
5, We repeat the process until the car is as good as can be and both parties are happy.
Ecutek License - All Customers
An Ecutek License is a one time seperate software unlocking fee charged by Ecutek.
It is required if the vehicle has not been mapped via Ecutek before.

An Ecutek License is needed per vehicle and stays with the vehicle for ever.
If a license is lost whilst programming we can replace it free of charge as long as it was originally bought from us in the first place.
My car was tuned by another tuner, can I now come to you?
Yes of course, but we can't modify the other tuners maps, we can only overwrite and tune our own files. So you will have to purchase one of our map options. You will not require another Ecutek License.
You have tuned my car before and now I want to make changes?
No problem, Price will depend on what you are changing... Common upgrades such as change the intake kit etc we charge a flat rate of £100 (+ vat). If its more involved like "added a turbo" then we would charge for a full turbo remap.
I want to tune my own car?
Yes no problem, we can supply the Ecutek Evi retail programming kit as well as Ecutek license. In standard form this allows you to program your own car. Beware you will need the BRZ RaceRom Upgrade for forced induction cars or for NA cars if you want custom maps & map switching.
Note: We do not offer any kind of pop and bang maps.
